More "Weeks" Achievements

 I'm not making these so much any more.

Not sure why- that needs some exploration.

It could be Covid.
And/or the losses.
Or that I find it hard to offer hope- three lost this past week alone- when the risks are so high.
Or that this is/was a ridiculous idea to begin with.
Or perhaps that I've just run out of childish ideas.

I dunno.

Bur here are some I've made lately. There were more but I don't feel like hunting them down and posting them.

Apparently I like giraffes.

I Wasted the Night Watching "Alone" It's a series show where they drop 10 folks off somewhere with their clothing, 65 pounds of video equipment, and 10 survival instruments of their choice. Of course most take a knife, a saw, some rope or fishing line, a fire starter, etc.  They are dropped off in the same general area, wherever that is, but in separate spots, so are "alone" against the elements.  Most the participants seem to be wilderness survival instructors but at least two are just women with odd, hardscrabble lives. I like that they allow a fair amount of women into the contest. The prize is half a million dollars. The players can take a toothbrush (but no toothpaste) and one picture (if they choose to take one). They do get regular medical checks but the medicos interact with them as little as possible- no chit-chat.  They can keep and use anything they find in the area.  The episodes I watched were part of Season 6. Cruz/Trump Rally in Houston 10/22/2018

LOL- so I went to the Cruz/Trump Rally in Houston, Texas today (10/22/2018), with my "Baby Trump" balloon. First, the ballon was a gift. It's the best "Baby Trump" ballon I've seen around with its "I love Putin" tattoo, a cellphone tucked into his (Trump's) diaper, and a hammer and sickle diaper pin! I discovered that not all stores will fill a balloon that you did not buy from them, but I found a store that would. The manager there started to laugh as he inflated it and we had a nice chat about where he can vote this week because he has to work on voting day. He did not know that his employer was required to let him off work on November 6th to vote but I encouraged him to vote early and explained the reasons why early voting would benefit him. But then I had to carry the inflated balloon on the train. I tried to hide it in a 13 gallon garbage bag at first but it was too big for that, so I just carried it.
